EPDM

EPDM (Ethylene propylene diene terpolymer)

EPDM a “single-ply” roofing system. It is one of the most commonly installed roofs on flat commercial roofs today.

It is an extremely durable synthetic rubber, similar to that of a tire. It comes in white and black, although we only recommend black.

Torch Down

This type of roofing material is designed for low-angle or flat roofs and gets its name from the method in which is used for installation.  A torch is utilized to melt the material, securing it to the roof and creating a waterproof seal that prevents unwanted leaks. It’s resistant to harsh weather, reflects UV rays, and helps keep indoor temperatures down during the summer.

Built-Up Roof (BUR)

BUR systems are one of the oldest and most reliable ways of installing a new roof, and have been used in the United State for over 100 years. They’re commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs, are suitable for all roof decks and are designed to endure harsh weather all-year round.

Modified Bitumen

This roofing system is a hybrid between BUR and rubber roofing. Sheets of asphalt-coated rubber are applied to the roof desk using heat welding or hot-asphalt mopping; making this option is extremely durable, and easy to repair.

Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO)

With demand increasing for heat-reflective and energy efficient roofing systems, TPO single-ply roofing membranes are among the fastest growing commercial roofing products. This system provides resistance to ultraviolet, ozone and chemical exposure, and is algae-resistant and environmentally friendly.
